This achievement is not merely a numerical triumph but a testament to our unwavering commitment to growth, excellence, and the incredible individuals who make up our workforce.

Our Journey: From Humble Beginnings to Regional Leadership

Sunrise Engineering started its journey in 1978 as a modest land-surveying company in Fillmore, Utah. Founder James A. Cox, along with Alden Robinson, set the foundation for what would become a pioneering force in the engineering and consulting sector. From these humble beginnings, the company has grown under the visionary leadership of former CEO Evan Simpson and current CEO Mark Huntsman. Today, we stand proud with over 500 employees spread across 26 offices in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming, and Idaho.

The Heart of Our Success: Our People

At the core of Sunrise Engineering’s success is our incredible team of engineers, surveyors, technicians, trainers, inspectors, administrators, and support personnel. These professionals bring their expertise, passion, and dedication to every project, ensuring that we deliver top-quality services to our clients and communities. Our growth is a reflection of their hard work and the collective entrepreneurial spirit that has been a hallmark of our company since its inception.
