Derek’s expertise includes drinking water source (well and spring) development and protection, hydraulics, hydrology, geotechnical engineering, hydroelectric evaluation and design, and geothermal resource investigation and assessment. His experience is wide-ranging, from drainage and dam break studies to sediment transport analysis to dam embankment, hydraulic structure, and pipeline design.
