Project Highlights

• Performed a preliminary feasibility study which involved the development of natural gas distribution systems for the communities of Mona, Nephi, and Levan, as well as residents, where feasible, within Juab County.

• Contracted to take the project from conception to completion.

• Provided an environmental assessment, assisting in obtaining jurisdictional approval by way of a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity, acquiring right of way, preparing material specifications, detail design, construction specifications, material procurement, bidding, marketing, construction management and compliance documentation, assisting and overseeing system start-up, and assisting in developing an O & M plan.

• Designed twenty-six miles of 8-inch high pressure steel; eleven miles of 4-inch high pressure steel; four town border stations including pressure regulation, pressure relief and metering, block sectionalizing valves; and P. E. distribution main.

• Assisted in establishing an interlocal agency that owns and operates the high-pressure steel transmission pipelines and assists in the operations of the three distribution systems.
