Manila Wastewater Improvements Project

Project Highlights

  • Investigated condition of existing system to determine locations that could be lined and locations that needed full replacement

  • 5,500 feet of sewer pipe was replaced

  • 54 laterals were reconnected to the new sewer mains

  • 25 new manholes were installed

  • 20 existing manholes were replaced

  • 10,000 feet of existing sewer pipe was lined

  • 60 laterals were reconnected to the new lining

  • The original project was constructed under budget

  • Remaining budget was used to install a new meter and screen structure at the lagoons, as well as pipework and control structures for two lagoon cell bypasses
