The Little Dell Penstock was designed and constructed to enable draining of the Mountain Dell Reservoir, facilitating a complete rehabilitation of the Mountain Dell Dam.

Provided 5,000 feet of 36-inch ductile iron pipeline bypassing the reservoir and tying into the headworks of Parley's Water Treatment Plant.

Designed penstock to provide bypass capability of the reservoir in case of any contaminant spill to the reservoir; penstock crosses a state highway, community golf course, and the abutment of the Mountain Dell Dam.
