Utah Testing and Engineering, a subsidiary of Sunrise Engineering, is seeking a Laboratory Manager to support our growing organization. of the pay range for this position is $30 – 40 per hour depending on experience and certifications.

Your Impact 

The Laboratory Manager provides both strategic and operational support to service center managers throughout the organization.

• Maintain current certifications as well as all obtained while working for Utah Testing & Engineering
• Fill out report forms for all inspections and testing performed

• Submit all report forms at end of shift

• Perform ACI Level 1 testing as needed

• Perform testing for soils, asphalt, and concrete.

• Other duties as assigned

Who You Are: 

Required Qualifications

• Experience with special inspection and construction materials testing inspection.

• Qualified candidates will have ACI Level I certification, and/or WAQTC certifications.

• Must have experience with asphalt, aggregate, embankment and base, SRDTT, concrete field, and concrete strength.

• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and the ability to maintain company vehicle.

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
