Project Highlights

  • Installed upgrades to the existing dam to complete the pressurization of the irrigation system

  • Upgrades included piping the outlet works beginning at the gate chamber of the dam and continuing past the existing stilling basin

  • Installed HDPE pipe connecting to the existing pressurized irrigation pipeline and another leg to the existing river channel

  • Constructed two concrete vaults to house the valve assemblies and flow meter

  • Added an outlet structure on the reservoir side of the dam with wing walls on either side of the structure to keep sediment and debris out of the pressurized irrigation system
