Project Highlights

  • Developed a 2 million gallon per day (MGD) treatment upgrade

  • Designed to discharge treated wastewater to rapid infiltration basins (RIBs) located adjacent to their wastewater treatment lagoon cells

  • Hydrogeologic site characterization and subsequent monitoring events

  • Quarterly water quality required by DWQ to determine whether or not a phosphorus treatment facility is needed to treat the wastewater

  • Seven monitoring wells and four staff gauges installed to observe temporal changes of the shallow groundwater conditions at the rapid infiltration basin and lagoon site
