  • Client Garland City

  • Location Garland, Utah

  • Services Construction Administration, Construction Observation, Funding Management, Value Engineering, Project Closeout Support

Project Highlights

  • Supported Garland City during construction of its own wastewater treatment facility, providing construction administration, observation, and funding management services

  • The facility uses AeroMod’s Sequox® treatment process—the first application of the process in Utah—combining continuous clarification with sequencing aeration to achieve stringent nutrient requirements.

  • The compact 7,300-square-foot facility is designed to biologically treat an average daily flow of 0.45 MGD and a peak daily flow of 1.27 MGD.

  • Provided daily observation logs with progress updates, timestamps, and photographs to keep City representatives informed throughout the 18-month construction period.

  • Helped the City navigate COVID-era supply-chain disruptions and significant construction cost increases through ongoing coordination and value engineering.

  • Managed project and funding requirements to help keep construction and professional service costs under the USDA Rural Development-approved budget, despite pandemic-related cost pressures.
