Dutch John Water Treatment Plant and Raw Water Tank

Project Highlights

  • Designed and provided construction management for a new water treatment system serving the Dutch John community.

  • Designed a 1-million-gallon concrete raw water storage tank supplied from Flaming Gorge Reservoir.

  • Performed hydraulic modeling and controls evaluations to integrate existing pumping infrastructure with the new treatment facilities.

  • Conducted a pilot plant study to verify treatment performance and compatibility with current and anticipated future drinking water regulations.

  • Designed a microfiltration treatment facility with granular activated carbon (GAC) treatment, housed within a steel building and sized for future expansion.

  • Developed a treatment plant capable of producing 0.18 MGD with expansion capacity to 0.36 MGD through parallel treatment trains.
