This Opportunity

Utah Testing and Engineering, a subsidiary of Sunrise Engineering, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our growing organization in our West Valley office. This is a position that will work 30-40 hours a week and will be paid $23 –$26 per hour depending on experience.

A Keen Eye for Detail. This meticulous role requires attention to detail and a systematic approach to rectifying any discrepancies that may arise. You will verify the accuracy of processed work and ensure its alignment with system-generated reports and balance figures. A Day in the Life would include reconciling processed transactions by cross-referencing entries and comparing them against the reported balances, ensuring the integrity of financial records.

Accounts Receivable Aficionado. While processing Accounts Receivable, your expertise will help prepare, and analyze invoices and work with project managers to allocate time and expenses accurately to designated accounts and cost centers. The meticulous examination of these financial documents ensures that entries are recorded with precision.

An Adaptable Team Player. Within the realm of accounting operations, there exists a multifaceted role that encompasses various functions from maintaining accounting ledgers, verifying client accounts, and posting account transactions. An adaptable team player will be able to assist their team members with different accounting support needs.

Proven and Experienced. For this role, we are looking for someone who has a solid accounting foundation. Having proven accounting experience of 2-5 years and a college degree in accounting is not required for this role but will certainly make you a strong candidate.
